What is Home & School?
- The Gulf Shore Home & School board is an elected group who work as a liaison between parents and the school. We are members of the PEI Home & School Federation and strive to advocate for the best possible education for our students and support them in many aspects.
What does Home & School do?
- Breakfast Program- operates Mon-Fri and provides a mixture of prepackaged and fresh homemade items each morning in partnership with the school staff.
- Pancake Lunches- prepared by volunteers for special events.
- BBQ’s: hosted by Home & School volunteers throughout the year.
- Staff and bus driver appreciation activities.
- Meals for teachers- hosted by Home & School volunteers during parent/teacher conferences.
- Family Fun events- from dances to carnival games throughout the whole year.
- Christmas store and bake sale.

How do I get involved?
- Sign up to our Gulf Shore Home & School Facebook page.
- Read the Gulf Shore monthly newsletters. Found on the school website.
- We welcome volunteers for our many various activities throughout the school year.
- Attend our monthly meetings. Drop in for one or for all, you can choose.

Gulf Shore is pleased to offer an on-line ordering and payment system for our Hot Lunch Program. In addition to white & chocolate milk every day, we have Subway on Wednesdays and By the Bay pizza on Fridays.
Ordering will begin for the week of September 8th. Orders must be placed the Saturday prior by 8:00pm and can be paid only via Paypal. Orders that are not paid before the deadline will not be processed.
Please follow these steps to register as a parent for the Hot Lunch Program.
- Go to https://gulfshore.hotlunches.net/
- “Click here to register”
- Enter our access code 7810
- Complete the registration form including your student’s home room (this is important and helps distribute orders correctly)
- “Register now” at the bottom of the form.
Register your student(s)
- Login using the username and password you created.
- Click “students”
- Enter your child’s information and homeroom (this is important to help distribute orders correctly)
- If registering more than one child, click “add new” to add additional students.
Please note, if your child resides in two homes, each caregiver can register and place orders for their student by adding “Mom”, “Dad” or some other designation to the child’s last name as the system will not accept the same student twice.
Once your children have been registered in the system, you can begin ordering for the first week, or as many weeks in advance as you prefer.
Click “order” beside the week(s) of your choice and you will see available options for each day. Once you have selected options for the week, click “update order & proceed”. Your balance will appear at the top of the page. Click “pay with PayPal” and follow the prompts to login to your PayPal account.
